Handcrafted hope in the form of humor and inspiration

ABOUT THIS SITE

Sometimes doing stuff with other people lightens the load.

Using a lifetime of a roller coaster ride experience, I welcome you to come along with me as I document my recovery journey and share inspiration, humor, and hope for the beyond. A curious little mix of this and that but hopefully useful to you in some way.

TAKE A MOMENT AND PRACTICE

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference”

QUIT BEING SELFISH AND LISTEN, LINDA.

You can make a difference in someone’s life, most importantly, your own.

Maybe you are a ‘normie’ and don’t need access to recovery resources for yourself. However, over 50% of the general population knows at least one person struggling right now. I would encourage you to look over some curated resources for the families, friends, coworkers, or acquaintances of an alcoholic. Due to the stigma associated with alcoholism, many individuals may not openly discuss their struggles.

First things first, put on your oxygen mask – that means, take care of yourself and make sure you are prepared to do the next right thing.
